Latte Love

"All I want is to focus on you, align my heart so I can see you, won't you turn this lense and make it clear..." Focus, that's the opening song in "Thrift Store" a CD by the Travis Lee Band. Last night, January 14, 2006, my lens focused on a very special TLB event at the Solid Rock Cafe in Eureka, Missouri. The house was packed, standing room only. The crowd was so psyched Gabe actually had to ask them to quiet down so the massive amps could be heard over the buzz of conversation. The crowd obliged and Gabe opened with a great mix of humor and his powerful music. No words can do justice to the fantastic music that the Travis Lee Band worships God with.

After Gabes solo guitar masterpieces the full band entertained the audience, including Vic, who had recovered from two broken arms. Gabe did a fantastic job on the drums, Travis played an Ovation and a mandolin, Vic complimented his guitar with a harmonica and Micah's base reverberated from the shadows.

Framed by books to the left and arched pillars to the right, Travis took the stage and poured his heart out to his girl friend. His words to her as he knelt before her and presented her with an engagement ring left the audience in tears. It was a very special evening indeed, and the beginning of a life together that will touch the lives of all they come in contact with.
